Chris Henshaw
Executive Director of Missions Ministries
Appointed October 1, 2011

Before being named as Executive Director of Missions Ministries, I served as the Vice President for three years, managing all operations in the US and Mexico, and spent two years prior leading teams and projects in Mexico. I know that God has great plans for the mission, as He has spent years assembling a respected and competent staff in both the US and Mexico as well as great group of local professional volunteers that comprise the Board of Directors in the US.

Graduating with a degree in Business from the University of Colorado, my first job was production planning at Lockheed Martin Missiles and Space(LMMS) in Littleton, CO. This was great experience working with the government, vendors, and manufacturers. While there I found a way to return to my passion of building. After leaving LMMS I owned and operated a General Contracting business for several years, building custom and semi-custom homes in the Southwest Denver Metro area. The Lord began to stir my desire to serve as I realized the blessing God had been giving me and my family. We went on our first mission trip with Missions Ministries in 1999.

So, what began as short-term mission trips with family, eventually led me to an opportunity to serve and bless brothers and sisters in Christ full time. My experience as a homebuilder, a planner, in production, ability to speak Spanish, and desire to use those skills to serve those less fortunate led me to Missions Ministries. I feel honored and humbled to be able to serve in such a way.”

Toni Chalmers and Family

My first trip with Missions Ministries was in 2009 with my husband, Joe, and two kids. In the many trips since then, we have come to adore the community and staff! I am in awe of how much joy the people share while living in great need. I often ask my kids if they could take a trip anywhere, where would they go? Juarez is always at the top of their list! I’m so excited to be joining the Missions Ministries team!”

Megan Allwein and Family

I am excited to be part of such an amazing ministry! I help with the Building Hope event and any specific ministry need throughout the year. Kirk and I first traveled to Juarez in 2001 during our college years and fell in love with serving “the least of these.” We were married shortly after college and I began teaching at a local elementary school and Arapahoe Community College. In recent years, we have led teams at Bandimere Speedway and served on numerous Juarez teams for building homes and schools. We have two amazing kids, two playful Westie pups, love the outdoors and serving as a family.”

Bill and Alexandra Orange

Bill Orange is the Ministry Team Center Manager. He helps support the work of the Mexican staff and helps lead teams. Bill was the first missionary to live on site in Juarez, since 2003, and has participated in the development of the team center, and its growth over the past 13 years. Bill has an integral role in preparing for the teams, facilitating the teams and maintaining the team center. Bill’s love for God and the Mexican people have been a blessing to our ministry and the surrounding community. He met his wife Alexandra in Juarez and they were married 2006. Bill’s is from Littleton, CO, and even though he misses his extended family that lives there, he doesn’t miss the cold and snowy winters.”

Colton and Sarah Morrison

Colton and Sarah Morrison are Ministry Team Leaders. They became involved with Missions Ministries in 2013 and began to feel a call toward missions shortly thereafter. Colton has a degree in finance with a background in construction, and Sarah is a Registered Nurse specializing in labor and delivery. Originally from Arkansas, both are graduates of Arkansas State University. When they aren’t leading teams, Sarah helps manage the clinic and Colton assists with financial and administrative tasks of the ministry.
